Season 4
The West Wing season 4 was debuted on 9-25-2002 with the episode entitled ’20 Hours in America (1)’. Season 4 begins with a two-part episode. As the season begins, Toby Ziegler, Josh Lyman and Donna Moss are lost in Indiana when they’re on their campaign for the re-elections. Election battle between the democratic Bartlet and Robert Ritchie was one of the major developments during the fourth season. Other developments this season were- abandonment of Bartlet’s long time deputy communications director, Sam Seabron. Season finale ‘Twenty Five’ was aired on 5-14-2003. Season ender was a somehow controversial episode on which Bartlet discovers that his daughter has been kidnapped by Qumari terrorists; forcing him to avoid a conflict of interest in handling the situation by invoking the little-used 25th amendment, which will place the reins of the government in the hands of Jed’s second-in-command.
